Since 1976, Spindle Publishing Company has specialized in producing resource guides tailored for targeted audiences. With over twenty-five (25) titles produced each year, our focus is on assisting people who are going through transitions in their lives and helping them adjust to new situations or stages in life. International Focus
The needs of international audiences have directed the focus of several of our publications. For example, the International Student Guide to the United States of America is distributed to students worldwide who wish to pursue higher education in the United States. The Latin American edition of this publication is produced in Spanish and focuses on students in 17 South American countries who wish to attend U.S. colleges.

In the early 1980s, we produced quarterly medical journal, Arab Doctor, with a regular supplement called the "International Hospital Referrals Guide". We sold this successful title to a British publishing house in 1986.

Next came www.medicalresourcesusa.com, hereafter known as www.americanhospitals.com. This web magazine is a guide to hospitals, health clinics, and medical resources in the U.S. and is designed to help international patients worldwide.
